Best Western Plus Swan hotel

Worked with a team in the food and beverage department,. Provided me with the skills of noticing finishing touches and how to make the most of displays and efficiency. A 4-star hotel in the heart of Wells.

Wells Cathedral School - Cedars Hall

Worked as both an individual and team member doing functions and bar work. Taught me key business and managerial skills as I am often deployed on my own or to train other staff members up. Learnt how to handle money correctly and set up and down bars efficiently.

Wells Cathedral School - Canteen

I was primarily working as an individual in this role, managing all stock rooms including dry stores, walk-in fridge, walk-in freezer and many other sections. Occasionally helped out with food preparation, as well as being in charge of putting details onto the stock management system.

Volunteer Experience

Yeovil Town WFC

This role included leading strength & conditioning and warm up sessions and drills, being involved with coaching both youth and first team set ups and primarily being in charge of taking data from PlayerTek and converting it to excel and creating graphs and charts from the pivot table.

SASP

During my volunteering here I was involved in coaching primary school students new and different activities such as, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton and Obstacle Courses.

5th/7th Wells

Scout Group

When I was both a Young Leader and Leader for scouts my roles included planning both weekly and weekend camp activities for the Scouts, risk assessments, health and safety and providing scouts with knowledge and support. Gave me an experience of a lifetime attending the World Scout Jamboree 2015 in Japan.

Education

Oxford Brookes University

I am an OBU student studying at  University Centre Somerset. Was a part of the first ever UCS football team coming 4th in the first year. Coming back to study a BSc next year.

Bridgwater & Taunton College

Studied Engineering at College.   I am not still pursuing Engineering but it was still very key in making me the person I am today. Taught me a lot in problem solving.
The college has a great sports development course.

The Blue School, Wells

First helped me discover my passion for sports, it took it from just a hobby to a possible future career. I had learnt a lot about myself in that time. The Blue school was ranked 'outstanding' by Ofsted.
